Gran Coyote, formerly the Grand Coral Golf Course, is Nick Price's most golfer-friendly creation where everyone will enjoy playing.

Playa as the locals call it—is located on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula in the heart of the Riviera Maya, surrounded by astonishing golfs some 65 kilometers south of Cancun.

This marvelous tourist destination was discovered by lovers of white-sand beaches, gentle waves lapping at the shore, and outdoor activities, Riviera Maya Golf.

Playa del Carmen has wisely preserved its old-time charm as a peaceful fishermen’s village: there are no towering structures here, and the relaxed ambiance still retains its original flair.

This 18 hole course par 71 with 6,990 yards is the first legacy of Nick Price in Mexico and it has the most modern club house and the most exclusive beach club. The locker room provides a gym, jacuzzi, dry sauna, and outdoor pool to finish your day.

The exclusive location, within the city limits of Playa del Carmen right next to the Caribbean Sea–presents a unique challenge for a greens designer: that of creating a Riviera Maya golf course that satisfies the needs of the area’s growing population while, whenever possible, protecting native vegetation and minimizing the need for excess water consumption.

The vision of golf course designer Nick Price to create a golf course that naturally adjusted and was sensitive to the beauty of the already existing environment, was achieved.
